Our girls didn't have much of a response when we told them I was pregnant. They weren't upset or anything, it was just "Okay". A good okay, I think, but just okay.
When we came back from our first ultrasound and showed them the pictures and had them guess how many babies there were, that's when their faces lit up and they properly freaked out. Three heartbeats. Three babies. Triplets.
We've seen them two more times since then and they are all growing well and looking like very small humans. Big heads, little hands, all of that. It's amazing. And a little insane.
I don't quite know how it's all going to work out, but we are thrilled (and overwhelmed, too). Hopefully I will feel well enough to share the ride.
Are you serious? That will be a huge change! I hope things go as well as possible.
ReplyDeleteIt seems like some sort of a joke, but I'm really pregnant with triplets.
ReplyDeleteI'm also hoping things go well. There's a lot that can go wrong, but I'm trying to concentrate on the things I have control of (eating enough and taking it easy are basically it at this point).
Oh my GOODNESS!! Congratulations times three, then! Best wishes for everyone's good health!
ReplyDeleteWOW! That's incredible. Take it easy, k?
ReplyDeletei think of your news every single day!!
ReplyDeletei like the title "three!" seems excited and so much more!
OH MY GOSH!!!! I'm so happy for you! I can't wait to keep reading and following this. Yay for triplets!
ReplyDeleteOh wow. Congratulations, good luck, and all the other things people ought to say at a time like this. (I know I'm extremely behind the times; see what I get for not checking lately.) But seriously, I hope all goes well. Pregnancy is hard enough (for me, anyway); please do take care of yourself first and foremost. Those other people in your house can deal with the rest. (With help from people at church when necessary.) And prayer, lots of prayer. Starting with mine.
